Vahali Dikri Yojana 2020: To increase the birth rate of daughters, the Gujarat government has launched Vahali Dikari Yojana in the budget. Under this scheme, when the daughter reaches the age of eighteen, the government will give her one lakh rupees. Under this Scheme, the government will provide education incentives and Rs. 1 lakh to the first and second daughters of the family. Families with an annual income of up to Rs. 2 lakh will be eligible for benefits under this scheme. In the last Gujarat Budget 2019-20, the state govt. has allocated Rs. 133 crore for Vahli Dikri Yojana.

Scheme Benefits
- Rs. 4000 when the daughter will get admission in standard one
- Rs. 6000 when the daughter will get admission in standard six
- Rs. 1,00,000 when the daughter reaches the age of eighteen
Eligibility Criteria
- Daughters born on or after August 2, 2019
- Two daughters will benefit
- The mother must be eighteen years of age at the time of the birth of the daughter
- The total income of the parents should be less than two lakhs
Application Process
- Valli Dikari Yojana form will be available from the nearest Anganwadi
- Must apply within a maximum of one year after birth with form and required proof
- The application form can be filled and submitted to Janseva Kendra or Seva Setu
- You will be notified within forty-five days of applying

- Mother’s birth certificate
- Father-Mother Aadhaar card
- Annual income certificate (Certified by Mamlatdar/ Taluka Development Officer/ Chief Officer)
- Birth certificates of children born and surviving in the family
