CBSE board Pre-exam counseling begins: The pre-examination counseling for students and parents will begin on February 2 and will continue till April 20. New Delhi, on Feb 02 CBSE board exams, The aim is to help students prepare well during the examinations and overcome exam-related stress. The class X and class XII examination of CBSE board will begin from March 2. In all, more than 13 lake students would sit for the class X test and more than 10 lake students would appear for the class XII examination.

About CBSE Counseling:

The counseling is offered by trained counselors and principals from within CBSE-affiliated schools and outside India. From This year there are 72 principals, trained counselors from CBSE- affiliated government and private schools. Among of them, there are some psychologists will participate in tele-counseling and address exam-related psychological problems of the students. Among of them, 62 of them are available in India while 10 are located in Nepal, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Al Khobar, Sultanate of Oman), the UAE (Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah) and Kuwait.

The CBSE annual counseling is an outreach program which is designed keeping the heterogeneity of student’s population and geographical spread. Multiple modes of communication, such as telephonic counseling, question answer columns in newspapers and online counseling through CBSE website, are used to reach out to more and more examiners during this phase. Students can dial a toll free number 1800 11 8004 from any part of the country which will give centralized access to CBSE helpline. While the general queries will be answered by the operators, students will be connected to the principals or counselors in case of exam-related anxiety or stress.
