  • Click on the link ‘NEET(UG) – 2018 Result’
  • Enter your roll number and date of birth
  • Press Submit button to download NEET Result 2018
  • Print it for further use.

NEET 2018 Application Form

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has invited online applications for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG) – 2018 (NEET-UG-2018) which is to be conducted for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges. NEET 2018 exam will be held on May 6, 2018. The online registration process is set to start from today on the official website of NEET 2018, cbseneet.nic.in.

CBSE NEET 2018: Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for appearing in NEET (UG) is as stipulated in Indian Medical Council Act-1956/Regulations as amended in 2018 and the Dentists Act-1948/Regulations as amended in 2018. Eligibility as per related regulations is as follows:-

Qualification : Candidates should have 12th standard examination certificate or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology & Mathematics.

NEET 2018 Age Limit

(a) He/she has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course.

(b) The upper age limit for NEET(UG) is 25 years as on the date of examination with relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category and persons entitled for reservation under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

For Candidates of Unreserved Category (UR) born on or between 07.05.1993 and 01.01.2002
For Candidates of SC/ST/OBC/PH Category born on or between 07.05.1988 and 01.01.2002

(c) Indian Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRIs), Oversees Citizen of India (OCIs), Persons with Indian Origin (PIOs) & Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear in NEET (UG)-2018. (As per letter no. U.12023/16/2010-ME-II dated 13.01.2016. of MoH & FW).

NEET 2018 Syllabus

The Question Papers for the test shall be based on a Common Syllabus notified by the Medical Council of India and implemented in the year 2013. Please see Appendix – I for details.

NEET 2018 Exam Pattern

The Entrance Test shall consist of one paper in all languages containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen provided by CBSE at examination centre only. The duration of test would be 03 hours.
