Applications are invited from Indian national candidates possessing the below mentioned qualifications and experience. Candidates should bring along with them application with completed bio-data giving full details of educational qualifications and experience with attested copies of mark sheets / certificates and experience certificates and recent passport size photographs. Following position is available for a period of two Years to work in an Instrument Development Project under Department of Science & Technology (DST), GOI sponsored research project, “Design of Fabric Tensile Impact Testing Machine”, with Dr. Amukhopadhyay, Professor and Principle Investigator; and Dr V Midha, Associate Professor, Co-Principle Investigator, Department of Textile Technology, National Institute of Technology Jalandhar.

3. Familiarity and hands-on experience on instrument design and development is desirable.
4. The Institute reserves the right to accept application at any time, and consider candidates of exceptional credentials. Qualification and experience may be relaxed by the Institute at any point of time for otherwise exceptional candidates.
5. Mere, possessing the prescribed qualification does not ensure that the candidate would be selected. The Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit, performance in interview and need of the project.
6. Candidates have to present themselves for the interview on the interview date with filled in application form, updated CV and original and attested photocopies of mark sheets/ certificates in support of their academic qualifications.
7. Applicants in employment (private, government or any other organization) are required to submit a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer at the time of interview.
8. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
